existence carries such innate cruelty. even in it's most primal form - the world is indifferent and merciless. a predator doesn't care about it's prey. both in nature and in human society. there are horrible things happening all around you, don't you know? people are dying because of the greed of our world leaders. our world is falling apart every day. even grasping that is bad for our psyche.

we've done everything we could to try and distract ourselves from the everlasting existential void. everyday you wake up, you read the social media posts about the new fashion trends and cekebrity feud, masturbate to women in pain on the screens, support industries that cause nothing but harm, buy and love and eat and sell and fuck to forget the cruelty. yes, you were always aware of it. subconsciously or maybe even consciously.

as animals in pain, we also try to find meaning within the suffering through sone grand reward within non-existence. maybe, just maybe, if you act accordingly against the "evilness", karma will bring you some sort of recognition. but it will not. god does not know of the morals we have made to survive. god does not care. whatever god is to you. it wants nothing good for you. yes, it's comforting to believe it, but the cold, hard, logical truth points to a merciless divinity.
